What KCEX is

KCEX has been running since 2021 and is registered in Seychelles. It is first of all a futures venue: by our measurements it carries over eight hundred perpetual contracts, and for each one the exchange openly publishes the funding rate, the interval it accrues on and the mark price. There is spot too — around eight hundred and fifty pairs.

What the venue sells itself on is zero spot fees and low futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field, so you can see exactly how it moves the net spread.

What is on offer

Futures — over eight hundred perpetual contracts, each stating its rate and next accrual time.

Spot — around eight hundred and fifty pairs, mostly against USDT.

Copy trading — mirroring the platform’s traders.

Launches — an early-listing section.

How KCEX feeds our scanners

In funding and futures arbitrage the venue takes part in full: contracts arrive as one list, rate and mark price included.

Spot is harder, and it is worth saying plainly. KCEX serves best quotes one pair per request and limits how often you may ask. Polling eight hundred pairs on every refresh is impossible, and substituting the last trade price for a book is something we will not do: you cannot buy at it, and the spread would be fiction. So for KCEX we keep the top hundred pairs by turnover under watch and walk them with a dedicated collector in step with the shared snapshot. Those pairs are what take part in spot arbitrage, triangular routes and stablecoin monitoring. The venue’s turnover sits in that hundred anyway, so beyond it the spread would not fill.

Why KCEX routes show a question mark

The exchange does not publish deposit and withdrawal status per network: whether a transfer is open, and what it costs, is absent from its public responses. We will not guess, so the transfer badge on those routes reads «unknown». If you see no KCEX rows while the «working transfers only» filter is on, that is why — not because transfers are closed. Check the status in the exchange’s own account area before trading.

Who it suits

Anyone trading futures and building delta-neutral routes: the contract list is wide and the data comes without keys or sign-up.

The legal side

the company is registered in the Seychelles; a separate entity, KCEX US LIMITED, is listed with the US FinCEN register as a Money Services Business — a registration rather than an exchange licence.

Frequently asked

How many contracts and pairs does KCEX have?
By our measurements over eight hundred perpetual contracts and around eight hundred and fifty spot pairs. The figures are live — they come from the exchange’s own directory on every refresh.
Why does spot arbitrage show only some KCEX pairs?
The exchange serves its book one pair per request and limits requests to roughly five a second. Walking eight hundred pairs within a single refresh is not possible, so we watch the top hundred by turnover, where nearly all the volume sits. Using the last trade price instead of a book was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
Why do KCEX routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status?
The venue does not publish whether deposits and withdrawals are open per network, or what a transfer costs. We will not present a guess as a fact, so the badge reads «unknown» and those rows are hidden while the «working transfers only» filter is on.
What are KCEX fees?
The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.
Does KCEX take part in funding?
Yes, in full. Every contract arrives in one list with its rate, accrual interval and next payout time, so the annualised rate is computed from the real interval rather than an assumption.
