In short: the difference
What WhiteBIT is: an exchange for real-money settlement. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Lithuania, its own WBT token.
What KCEX is: a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.
What WhiteBIT gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, WhiteBIT leans on its own strengths: A European venue with Ukrainian roots, registered in Lithuania. Its defining trait is money without USDT in the middle: ninety-two euro pairs and sixteen hryvnia ones, a combination nothing else here offers. There is spot, almost four hundred perpetuals, P2P, staking and savings, a launchpad and its own WBT token, which sits in the market top twenty by capitalisation.
Strong sides: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20.
What KCEX gives you
The regulated venue wins on money, KCEX on everything else: A venue weighted towards derivatives: eight hundred and more perpetual contracts, each with an open funding rate and mark price, alongside spot on roughly eight hundred and fifty pairs. The offer it leads with is zero spot commission and low rates on futures. Copy trading and new-coin launches round it out, and the dense part of the book sits in the first hundred pairs.
Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
What decides it
- Age. WhiteBIT has run since 2018, KCEX since 2021 — a gap of 3 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
- Jurisdiction. WhiteBIT sits in Lithuania, KCEX in Seychelles. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native token. WBT on WhiteBIT cuts fees and opens launches; KCEX has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. WhiteBIT: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20; KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
- Which job. WhiteBIT is for settling directly in euro and hryvnia without USDT in between, while KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding.
- Worth remembering. WhiteBIT: USDT withdrawals cost more than on the largest venues — compare networks if you move often. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch.

What people ask most
WhiteBIT: How many euro and hryvnia pairs does WhiteBIT have? Ninety-two against the euro, sixteen against the hryvnia, eighty-eight against bitcoin and three hundred and twenty-eight against USDT, out of around eight hundred markets. That is more ordinary-money pairs than any other venue we cover.
WhiteBIT: How many futures are there? Three hundred and ninety-six USDT perpetuals, with funding published for all of them. The settlement interval differs by contract: eight hours on some, four on others.
WhiteBIT: Where is the exchange registered? In Lithuania, running since 2018, founded by Ukrainians. That European registration sets it apart from most venues we cover, which are registered offshore.
KCEX: Does KCEX take part in funding? Yes, in full. Every contract arrives in one list with its rate, accrual interval and next payout time, so the annualised rate is computed from the real interval rather than an assumption.
KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.
KCEX: Why do KCEX routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The venue does not publish whether deposits and withdrawals are open per network, or what a transfer costs. We will not present a guess as a fact, so the badge reads «unknown» and those rows are hidden while the «working transfers only» filter is on.
Both at once
Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. Deposits and withdrawals go through the regulated venue, trading and yield through the ecosystem. A stablecoin travels between them on a cheap network.
Live numbers
Everything in the table above is recomputed together with the rest of the site — pairs, contracts, P2P, networks and the withdrawal fee. WhiteBIT and KCEX can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
The futures list runs longer on KCEX: 820, against 395. KCEX gives 2.6× the choice on spot: 856 USDT pairs against 326. WhiteBIT is the one of the two with a published USDT withdrawal: 0.50 on SOL.
