In short: the difference
KCEX is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.
Zoomex is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. .
What KCEX gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, KCEX leans on its own strengths: Over eight hundred perpetuals is what KCEX carries, every one of them publishing a funding rate and a mark price, with spot adding another eight hundred and fifty pairs. The pitch is straightforward: nothing per spot trade and modest rates on derivatives. Copy trading and launches sit on top, and turnover gathers in the top hundred pairs.
Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
What Zoomex gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet Zoomex wins on other things: A derivatives venue: upwards of seven hundred perpetual contracts, each with an open funding rate, accrual interval and mark price. Spot is smaller — about a hundred USDT pairs — yet those too show best quotes with size. Copy trading and trading tournaments are available. The venue serves its data whole, one response per section and without keys.
Strong sides: 700+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, sizes at the quote on spot, funding interval stated per contract.
What decides it
- Strengths side by side. KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings; Zoomex: 700+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, sizes at the quote on spot, funding interval stated per contract.
- Which job. KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding, while Zoomex is primarily as a futures venue in funding and spot-futures routes.
- Worth remembering. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch. Zoomex: a narrow spot listing — around a hundred pairs against thousands at the large venues.
Which one fits you
KCEX — primarily as a futures venue in funding.
Zoomex — primarily as a futures venue in funding and spot-futures routes.
What people ask most
KCEX: Does KCEX take part in funding? Yes, in full. Every contract arrives in one list with its rate, accrual interval and next payout time, so the annualised rate is computed from the real interval rather than an assumption.
KCEX: Why does spot arbitrage show only some KCEX pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request and limits requests to roughly five a second. Walking eight hundred pairs within a single refresh is not possible, so we watch the top hundred by turnover, where nearly all the volume sits. Using the last trade price instead of a book was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.
Zoomex: Does Zoomex take part in funding? Yes, in full. The exchange serves every contract in one response with its rate, the accrual interval in hours and the next payout time, so the annualised rate comes from the real period.
Zoomex: Why does Zoomex have few spot pairs? The venue is built around derivatives and its spot listing is narrow by design — around a hundred pairs. Each one does come with the size at the best price, though.
Zoomex: Why do Zoomex routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The exchange does not openly publish networks, fees and deposit/withdrawal statuses. We will not present a guess as a fact.
Both at once
Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.
Live numbers
The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. KCEX and Zoomex can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
The USDT withdrawal cost is absent from open data for both KCEX and Zoomex. That is their disclosure choice rather than a gap in our collection: neither reference carries a fee field at all. Spot is wider on KCEX: 856 USDT pairs against 94, a gap of 9.1×. In derivatives there is no gap — around 773 contracts on both.
