What this document covers

These are the terms on which you use the Puffit site. By opening the site you accept them. If they do not suit you, simply do not use the service.

What the service does

Puffit reads public market data, calculates spreads and other figures from it and lays the result out in tables. It is a reference tool.

What the service does not do

The service places no orders and executes no trades: all of that happens on the exchange’s site, under your account and on its terms.

The service neither accepts nor stores keys, passwords or recovery phrases. Anyone asking for them in the name of Puffit is running a scam.

The service holds no funds and moves none.

The service gives no investment advice; the disclaimer says more about this.

Access

You need no account and pay nothing. The privacy policy describes which settings stay in your browser.

Links to exchanges

Links go straight to the exchanges’ sites and carry no partner tags.

Rules of use

You are free to view and compare the data and to work out your own trades from it. Do not send automated requests in volumes that get in other people’s way, and do not try to reach closed parts of the server.

Availability

The service is provided in its current state. Sources can go offline and data can lag, and uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. These terms can change; the current text is on this page.
