In short: the difference
KCEX is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.
HIBT is an exchange that covers several jobs at once. .
What KCEX gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet KCEX wins on other things: A venue weighted towards derivatives: eight hundred and more perpetual contracts, each with an open funding rate and mark price, alongside spot on roughly eight hundred and fifty pairs. The offer it leads with is zero spot commission and low rates on futures. Copy trading and new-coin launches round it out, and the dense part of the book sits in the first hundred pairs.
Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
What HIBT gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, HIBT leans on its own strengths: A spot exchange with almost five hundred USDT pairs and tangible turnover on the major coins. The book comes one pair per request, so we follow the top hundred and fifty by turnover and walk them with a separate collector — that is where nearly all the volume gathers. Best quotes arrive with their size, which makes the execution ceiling computable.
Strong sides: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
What decides it
- Strengths side by side. KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings; HIBT: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
- Which job. KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding, while HIBT is as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
- Worth remembering. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch. HIBT: the book is served one pair per request, so only the top of the turnover list enters the scanners.
Which one fits you
KCEX — primarily as a futures venue in funding.
HIBT — as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
What people ask most
KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.
KCEX: Why does spot arbitrage show only some KCEX pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request and limits requests to roughly five a second. Walking eight hundred pairs within a single refresh is not possible, so we watch the top hundred by turnover, where nearly all the volume sits. Using the last trade price instead of a book was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
KCEX: Does KCEX take part in funding? Yes, in full. Every contract arrives in one list with its rate, accrual interval and next payout time, so the annualised rate is computed from the real interval rather than an assumption.
HIBT: Why do HIBT routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The exchange does not openly publish networks, fees and deposit/withdrawal statuses. We will not present a guess as a fact.
HIBT: Does HIBT take part in triangular arbitrage? Yes. The venue publishes the size at the best quote, and without that number an exchange does not enter the triangular section at all.
HIBT: How many pairs does HIBT have? By our measurements nearly five hundred spot pairs against USDT. The scanners use the top hundred and fifty by turnover — the ones where a spread can actually fill.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.
Live numbers
The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. KCEX and HIBT can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
Spot is wider on KCEX: 856 USDT pairs against 478, a gap of 1.8×. Neither KCEX nor HIBT publishes the USDT withdrawal fee in its open reference, which is why the row shows a dash rather than an invented number. Both quote it in the wallet, at the moment of withdrawal.
