Binance vs KCEX

Two full ecosystems. Binance is stronger at the core — book and P2P; KCEX is more interesting around the trading itself.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

Binance is the exchange that carries the most of everything. On the market since 2017, jurisdiction: no single headquarters, its own BNB token.

KCEX is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.

What Binance gives you

Compared with an ecosystem, Binance leans on its own strengths: The largest venue in the world and the most complete in what it offers: spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P across more than fifty currencies, savings and staking under Earn, new-coin launches on Launchpad, copy trading, trading bots and a payment card. Nearly five hundred USDT pairs and over eight hundred contracts — and, more importantly, the deepest book anywhere: size goes through here without noticeable slippage.

Strong sides: the deepest book we cover, P2P in 50+ currencies, USDT withdrawals from 0.01 on BSC, 19 networks to choose from.

What KCEX gives you

The rival’s scale does not mean KCEX has nothing to offer: A derivatives venue: over eight hundred perpetual contracts, each publishing its funding rate and mark price, plus spot across some eight hundred and fifty pairs. What the venue sells itself on is zero spot fees and low futures rates. There is copy trading and new-coin launches; turnover is concentrated in the first hundred pairs, where the book is dense.

Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.

What decides it

  • Age. Binance has run since 2017, KCEX since 2021 — a gap of 4 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
  • Jurisdiction. Binance sits in no single headquarters, KCEX in Seychelles. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native token. BNB on Binance cuts fees and opens launches; KCEX has no such lever.
  • Strengths side by side. Binance: the deepest book we cover, P2P in 50+ currencies, USDT withdrawals from 0.01 on BSC, 19 networks to choose from; KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
  • Which job. Binance is the anchor venue for anyone who values reliable execution and cheap transfers, while KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding.
  • Worth remembering. Binance: new coins arrive here later than on the early-listing venues. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch.

Binance — the anchor venue for anyone who values reliable execution and cheap transfers.

KCEX — primarily as a futures venue in funding.

What people ask most

Binance: Do I need verification to trade? Basic verification for spot trading. Full verification, with a document and a selfie, for P2P, fiat funding and any meaningful withdrawal.

Binance: Why is a withdrawal sometimes delayed? Large or unusual transfers go to manual review. Answering the source-of-funds question is usually enough; completing verification in advance reduces the chance of a hold.

KCEX: How many contracts and pairs does KCEX have? By our measurements over eight hundred perpetual contracts and around eight hundred and fifty spot pairs. The figures are live — they come from the exchange’s own directory on every refresh.

KCEX: Does KCEX take part in funding? Yes, in full. Every contract arrives in one list with its rate, accrual interval and next payout time, so the annualised rate is computed from the real interval rather than an assumption.

KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.

Both at once

Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. Usually one becomes the main venue and the other the spare: part of the balance sits there for coins and networks the first one lacks.

Live numbers

The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. Binance and KCEX can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

Spot breadth favours KCEX — 856 USDT pairs to 519, 1.6× more. Contract counts sit side by side — 840 or thereabouts on each. P2P advertisements reach us from Binance alone: 56 currencies. Only Binance gives a measurable USDT withdrawal: 0.0100 over BSC.
