P2P route finder

We list only routes you can actually execute: if two ads’ limits do not overlap there is no route, however handsome the percentage between them looks.

Executable P2P routes

Buy on one venue, sell on another. The window is where both ads overlap once remaining stock is taken into account: the amount the route can actually absorb.

Key things about routes

A short explanation of how the data is built, what to watch for and how to use it properly.

Because they compute the gap between the best buy price and the best sell price and stop there. We take the next step and check whether those two ads can be matched at all.

Every ad carries a minimum and a maximum trade size. A seller willing to part with 500 to 5,000 in fiat and a buyer who starts at 20,000 may sit five percent apart on price, but no trade exists between them at any size. We drop such pairs entirely: there is nothing to show.

Surviving routes get a trade window column — the range you can actually put through. It is the intersection of both ads’ limits with each one’s remaining balance. The top of that window is the route’s real ceiling, not an abstract percentage.

A ten-percent route capped at 200 in fiat earns 20. A one-percent route capped at 100,000 earns 1,000. The first looks more impressive; the second pays fifty times more, and that is why it sits on top.

The earnings column is computed at the top of the window: what you make if you trade the maximum both ads allow.

The best price almost always sits on a bank you do not have. Narrow the list to your own methods and it becomes three times shorter and exactly that much more honest. The method list is built from what the exchanges actually returned, so a new bank appears in the filter by itself.

Zero by default: most P2P venues charge the taker nothing. If your terms differ, enter your own rate — it is deducted on each leg, buying and selling, because that is where it is paid.

Time. Between buying and selling the coin has to move from one exchange to the other, and in those minutes an ad can vanish and the price can drift. Routes therefore execute more reliably from pre-funded balances on both venues: both trades happen at once and the transfer rebalances afterwards.

And counterparty risk. We show the nickname, the order count and the venue, but we do not vouch for the seller: disputes are settled by the exchange’s arbitration, not by a scanner.

FAQ

Popular questions

Answers to the most common questions about how Puffit works.

Why are there so few routes?
Because we drop the ones whose ad limits do not overlap. Scanners that skip that check show longer lists, but fewer than half of those entries can be executed.
What is the trade window?
The range of sizes a route can actually be put through: the intersection of both ads’ limits with each one’s remaining balance. Below the lower bound the trade is refused; above the upper bound there is not enough volume.
Why do earnings matter more than the percentage?
A percentage says nothing about size. Ten percent of 200 is 20 — not worth opening two trades for. Sorting by money shows what is actually worth doing.
Are cross-exchange transfer fees included?
No, and that is worth remembering. The calculation covers two P2P trades; moving the coin between venues is costed separately in the cross-exchange arbitrage section.
Can I look for routes inside a single exchange?
Yes, switch it on. They appear when prices diverge sharply between payment methods on one venue, and nothing needs transferring.
