In short: the difference
First in the pair, WEEX, is an exchange that lives on leverage. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own WXT token.
Second in the pair, KCEX, is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.
What WEEX gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet WEEX wins on other things: A young venue that grew fast: seventeen hundred spot pairs and a thousand perpetuals, more than many long-established names. There is P2P in dozens of currencies, copy trading, savings and its own WXT token. The exchange is known for the user protection fund it holds publicly.
Strong sides: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.
What KCEX gives you
Next to a derivatives terminal, KCEX answers with something else: A derivatives venue: over eight hundred perpetual contracts, each publishing its funding rate and mark price, plus spot across some eight hundred and fifty pairs. What the venue sells itself on is zero spot fees and low futures rates. There is copy trading and new-coin launches; turnover is concentrated in the first hundred pairs, where the book is dense.
Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
What decides it
- Age. WEEX has run since 2018, KCEX since 2021 — a gap of 3 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
- Jurisdiction. WEEX sits in Singapore, KCEX in Seychelles. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native token. WXT on WEEX cuts fees and opens launches; KCEX has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. WEEX: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund; KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.
- Which job. WEEX is for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency, while KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding.
- Worth remembering. WEEX: eleven withdrawal networks — fewer than the largest venues. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch.

What people ask most
WEEX: Does WEEX have an official YouTube channel? We checked the link in the weex.com footer in September 2026: it leads to a channel holding no videos that does not belong to the exchange. So we link no video here, and suggest taking instructions from the help centre linked below.
WEEX: Which network is cheapest for USDT withdrawals? Not TRON, contrary to habit: it is the dearest on WEEX, and layer-two networks come in more than ten times cheaper. Exact figures per network are in the table at the top of this page, since they change.
WEEX: How do I fund a WEEX account? Under Assets choose Deposit, then the coin and the network, and send to the address shown. The network must match the one you send from: a network mismatch is the most common way to lose coins, and the exchange warns about it separately in its own guide.
KCEX: Why does spot arbitrage show only some KCEX pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request and limits requests to roughly five a second. Walking eight hundred pairs within a single refresh is not possible, so we watch the top hundred by turnover, where nearly all the volume sits. Using the last trade price instead of a book was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
KCEX: Why do KCEX routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The venue does not publish whether deposits and withdrawals are open per network, or what a transfer costs. We will not present a guess as a fact, so the badge reads «unknown» and those rows are hidden while the «working transfers only» filter is on.
KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. Spot and earn stay on the ecosystem, contracts on the terminal. Moving between them costs pennies on the right network.
Live numbers
The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. WEEX and KCEX can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
WEEX is the one of the two with a published USDT withdrawal: 0.0150 on OPTIMISM. WEEX gives 1.9× the choice on spot: 1,601 USDT pairs against 856. P2P data comes from WEEX only — 89 currencies. On perpetual contracts WEEX is ahead — 1,045 to 820.
