KCEX vs xRocket

KCEX and xRocket are two ecosystems of the same class. The choice usually turns on a detail: withdrawal price, interface, or a coin the other one lacks.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

First in the pair, KCEX, is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Seychelles.

Second in the pair, xRocket, is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Telegram, its own XROCK token.

What KCEX gives you

Compared with an ecosystem, KCEX leans on its own strengths: A derivatives venue: over eight hundred perpetual contracts, each publishing its funding rate and mark price, plus spot across some eight hundred and fifty pairs. What the venue sells itself on is zero spot fees and low futures rates. There is copy trading and new-coin launches; turnover is concentrated in the first hundred pairs, where the book is dense.

Strong sides: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings.

What xRocket gives you

The rival’s service list is wide, yet xRocket wins on other things: An exchange grown out of a Telegram bot: wallet, trading and P2P in a single messenger window. Its ad board is markedly larger than its trading side — over a thousand buy offers, some three hundred in roubles and sixty in hryvnia. Spot runs to 54 pairs, twenty of them against USDT.

Strong sides: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.

What decides it

  • Jurisdiction. KCEX sits in Seychelles, xRocket in Telegram. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native token. XROCK on xRocket cuts fees and opens launches; KCEX has no such lever.
  • Strengths side by side. KCEX: 800+ contracts with open rates and mark prices, zero spot fees per the venue’s own schedule, early listings; xRocket: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
  • Which job. KCEX is primarily as a futures venue in funding, while xRocket is first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
  • Worth remembering. KCEX: spot books are served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred by turnover under watch. xRocket: no futures and no funding rate at all, and a thin spot book — the gap between buying and selling BTC runs to about half a per cent.

Which one fits you

KCEX — primarily as a futures venue in funding.

xRocket — first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.

What people ask most

KCEX: What are KCEX fees? The venue advertises zero spot fees and reduced futures rates. In our tables the fee is yours to set in the «trade fee» field — put in zero and watch how the net spread changes.

KCEX: Why do KCEX routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The venue does not publish whether deposits and withdrawals are open per network, or what a transfer costs. We will not present a guess as a fact, so the badge reads «unknown» and those rows are hidden while the «working transfers only» filter is on.

KCEX: Why does spot arbitrage show only some KCEX pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request and limits requests to roughly five a second. Walking eight hundred pairs within a single refresh is not possible, so we watch the top hundred by turnover, where nearly all the volume sits. Using the last trade price instead of a book was not an option: you cannot buy at it.

xRocket: How many spot pairs are there? Fifty-four, twenty of them against USDT. The rest are quoted in GRAM, a token of the TON ecosystem.

xRocket: Do I need to install an app to trade on xRocket? No. The venue works inside Telegram: the wallet, trading and the ad board all open in the messenger. There is no separate site with an account area.

xRocket: Does xRocket have rouble P2P? Yes, and it is its strong side. The board carries around three hundred rouble ads, paid through SBP, Sberbank, T-Bank, Alfa-Bank, Ozon Bank and ordinary transfers.

Both at once

Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.

Live numbers

The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. KCEX and xRocket can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

The USDT withdrawal cost is absent from open data for both KCEX and xRocket. That is their disclosure choice rather than a gap in our collection: neither reference carries a fee field at all. KCEX gives 42.8× the choice on spot: 856 USDT pairs against 20. Only xRocket of the two reaches our P2P scanner, in 89 currencies.

Frequently asked

xRocket or KCEX — which should you pick?
It is the same choice whichever way round you write it. The comparison above is built on what can be measured: fees, pair counts, withdrawal chains and funding routes. Look less at which venue is "better" in general and more at which of those matters to you.
