In short
Binance is larger on every measurable count: almost five hundred USDT pairs against three hundred and twenty-eight, over eight hundred perpetual contracts against four hundred, and P2P across some fifty currencies.
But WhiteBIT has something the giant does not, and for some people it decides everything: direct pairs against ordinary money. Ninety-two euro pairs here, sixteen hryvnia pairs. Binance has a handful of euro pairs and routes almost everything through USDT.
Money without USDT in the middle
The path from euro into a coin on Binance is two trades: buy USDT first, then the coin. On WhiteBIT it is one. Each trade costs a fee and a spread, and a round trip racks up four charges instead of two.
For anyone counting in euro or hryvnia that is a direct saving and a much shorter path.
What WhiteBIT gives you
Euro and hryvnia pairs — ninety-two and sixteen respectively, plus eighty-eight against bitcoin.
Spot — around eight hundred markets.
Futures — nearly four hundred perpetual contracts. A nice touch for calculations: the funding interval arrives with the rate and differs by contract — eight hours on some, four on others.
Staking and Earn — deposits with clear terms and higher rates for WBT holders.
Lending — earn by lending out your coins.
WhiteBIT USD Card — pay with crypto anywhere Visa is accepted, with up to 10% cashback in bitcoin.
Codes — send funds to another user with a single code, instantly and free.
WBT token — by capitalisation one of the strongest exchange tokens on the market.
What Binance gives you
Spot — over a thousand pairs and the best book depth on the market.
Futures and options — the full derivatives set.
P2P — the largest in the world, the main gateway into crypto for hryvnia.
Earn — savings, staking, dual investments, auto-invest.
Launchpad and Megadrop — project launches.
Pay and card — spend crypto directly.
Cheap withdrawals — USDT on BSC costs 0.01.
Fees
Spot on both starts at a tenth of a percent, falling with volume and with their own tokens: BNB on one, WBT on the other. The per-trade difference is not material.
On transfers Binance wins: USDT on BSC costs 0.01, while WhiteBIT charges 1 on most networks, with only Ethereum (0.4) and Plasma (0.1) cheaper. If you shuttle coins between exchanges often that is worth planning around; on a one-off purchase you will not notice it.
P2P
On Binance this is the main gateway into crypto for hryvnia, and we show its offers in our live rates. WhiteBIT runs a P2P section too, but there is no programmatic access to it, so it does not reach our tables — check it on the exchange itself.
What to choose
WhiteBIT — if you count in euro or hryvnia and want to buy coins directly without the USDT hop, and for the card, the staking and the code transfers.
Binance — if you need a wide listing, the deepest book, cheap transfers between exchanges and the largest P2P.
What the numbers say
On the cheapest chain Binance charges 0.0100 for USDT via BSC; the same move on WhiteBIT runs to 0.50 SOL. Binance gives 1.6× the choice on spot: 519 USDT pairs against 326. Our scanner reads P2P on Binance only — 56 currencies. On perpetual contracts Binance is ahead — 860 to 395. Binance opens 19 chains for USDT against 12 on WhiteBIT — more routes mean more chances to move funds cheaply.
