WEEX or Toobit

Two young derivatives-first venues. A look at what each one is useful for.

Compared by the numbers

Everything below is read from the platforms directly. We leave volume out by choice — the methods differ too much for an honest comparison. And the P2P row measures our own scanner’s reach, not the exchange’s full currency list.

The difference in one sentence

WEEX is larger and wider: it has several times more spot pairs and perpetual contracts, and it publishes its fee openly per pair. Toobit is smaller but serves one thing almost nobody else does — the exact time of the next funding settlement.

What WEEX gives you

Futures — around a thousand perpetual contracts.

Spot — 0.1% flat for makers and takers.

Copy trading — mirror the platform traders.

Earn — savings and accumulation products.

Protection fund — a public reserve of a thousand bitcoin whose addresses can be checked on chain.

WXT token — fee discounts.

Open fee data — makerFeeRate and takerFeeRate come straight from the instruments reference, per pair. That is rare: most venues keep rates in a help section.

What Toobit gives you

Exact funding time — the headline feature. Alongside the rate, the exchange serves the time of the next settlement per contract.

Futures — over seven hundred perpetual USDT contracts.

Spot — around a thousand coins in the reference.

Copy trading — mirror other traders.

Earn — savings and accumulation products.

Launchpad — new token launches.

TBT token — fee discounts.

Funding: where Toobit is stronger

A funding rate matters exactly at the moment it settles. Enter a minute before and you collect; enter a minute after and you pay to hold. Most exchanges do not publish the time, leaving you to guess from the eight-hour grid.

Toobit serves the next settlement time per contract, and in our funding section it is visible right in the table. On delta-neutral setups that precision saves more than any fee difference.

For WEEX we take the last settlement stamp and add the period the exchange reports in minutes — that works too, just less directly.

Withdrawal networks

Both publish the network list and fees openly, with no key or authorisation — credit where it is due. The spread between networks is large on both, and that is an opportunity: picking the right network cuts your transfer cost several times over.

P2P

Both have it. On WEEX the section lives at /buy-crypto, on Toobit at /en-US/p2p. Both markets are young, and prices there move fairly freely: as a source of cross-venue gaps that is interesting, and both flow into our rate pages automatically.

Who each one suits

WEEX — if you want choice: more contracts, a thicker book, and fees you can verify yourself.

Toobit — if you build delta-neutral setups and need to land exactly on the funding settlement.

What the numbers say

On perpetual contracts WEEX is ahead — 1,045 to 371. Spot is wider on WEEX: 1,601 USDT pairs against 534, a gap of 3×. WEEX opens 11 chains for USDT against 10 on Toobit — more routes mean more chances to move funds cheaply. WEEX feeds the scanner P2P in 89 currencies; Toobit in 12. WEEX asks less to move USDT — 0.0150 over OPTIMISM; Toobit comes to 0.10 OPTIMISM.

Frequently asked

Which has more contracts?
WEEX: around a thousand perpetuals against just over seven hundred USDT contracts on Toobit.
Why is Toobit more useful for funding?
It serves the exact time of the next settlement per contract. On WEEX it has to be derived from the period and the last settlement stamp.
Which has cheaper withdrawals?
It depends on the network rather than the exchange. The spread between networks is large on both, so the choice of network saves real money.
Do both have P2P?
Yes. On WEEX it is at /buy-crypto, on Toobit at /en-US/p2p.
What is the WEEX protection fund?
A public reserve fund of a thousand bitcoin whose addresses can be checked directly on chain.
Toobit or WEEX — which should you pick?
It is the same choice whichever way round you write it. The comparison above is built on what can be measured: fees, pair counts, withdrawal chains and funding routes. Look less at which venue is "better" in general and more at which of those matters to you.
