In short: the difference
First in the pair, WhiteBIT, is a venue with direct fiat. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Lithuania, its own WBT token.
Second in the pair, xRocket, is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Telegram, its own XROCK token.
What WhiteBIT gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet WhiteBIT wins on other things: A European venue with Ukrainian roots, registered in Lithuania. Its defining trait is money without USDT in the middle: ninety-two euro pairs and sixteen hryvnia ones, a combination nothing else here offers. There is spot, almost four hundred perpetuals, P2P, staking and savings, a launchpad and its own WBT token, which sits in the market top twenty by capitalisation.
Strong sides: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20.
What xRocket gives you
Against a regulated venue, xRocket wins on other things: An exchange grown out of a Telegram bot: wallet, trading and P2P in a single messenger window. Its ad board is markedly larger than its trading side — over a thousand buy offers, some three hundred in roubles and sixty in hryvnia. Spot runs to 54 pairs, twenty of them against USDT.
Strong sides: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
What decides it
- Age. WhiteBIT has run since 2018, xRocket since 2021 — a gap of 3 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
- Jurisdiction. WhiteBIT sits in Lithuania, xRocket in Telegram. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. WhiteBIT has WBT, xRocket has XROCK: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. WhiteBIT: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20; xRocket: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
- Which job. WhiteBIT is for settling directly in euro and hryvnia without USDT in between, while xRocket is first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
- Worth remembering. WhiteBIT: USDT withdrawals cost more than on the largest venues — compare networks if you move often. xRocket: no futures and no funding rate at all, and a thin spot book — the gap between buying and selling BTC runs to about half a per cent.
Which one fits you
WhiteBIT — for settling directly in euro and hryvnia without USDT in between.
xRocket — first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
What people ask most
WhiteBIT: What is WBT? The exchange's own token. It grants fee discounts and access to the exchange's programmes. It ranks fifteenth on the market by capitalisation, unusually high for an exchange token.
WhiteBIT: What does it cost to withdraw USDT? One USDT on almost any network: TRON, BSC, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum and the rest. Only Ethereum (0.4) and Plasma (0.1) are cheaper. That is noticeably dearer than the large competitors, and it tells on frequent transfers.
WhiteBIT: How many futures are there? Three hundred and ninety-six USDT perpetuals, with funding published for all of them. The settlement interval differs by contract: eight hours on some, four on others.
xRocket: Does xRocket have rouble P2P? Yes, and it is its strong side. The board carries around three hundred rouble ads, paid through SBP, Sberbank, T-Bank, Alfa-Bank, Ozon Bank and ordinary transfers.
xRocket: Does xRocket offer futures? No. The venue has no perpetual contracts, so it does not appear in the funding section.
xRocket: Do I need to install an app to trade on xRocket? No. The venue works inside Telegram: the wallet, trading and the ad board all open in the messenger. There is no separate site with an account area.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. Deposits and withdrawals go through the regulated venue, trading and yield through the ecosystem. A stablecoin travels between them on a cheap network.
