In short: the difference
First in the pair, OKX, is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2017, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own OKB token.
Second in the pair, xRocket, is an ecosystem with its own set of services. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Telegram, its own XROCK token.
What OKX gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet OKX wins on other things: One of the few venues with a full derivatives suite: spot, perpetual and dated futures, options. Plus P2P, savings and staking, coin launches on Jumpstart, copy trading, bots and its own Web3 wallet with access to decentralised exchanges. It runs its own X Layer network, where USDT withdrawals are free.
Strong sides: free withdrawals on its own X Layer network, a full derivatives suite, a built-in Web3 wallet.
What xRocket gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, xRocket leans on its own strengths: xRocket runs entirely inside Telegram: no website, nothing to install. Its strength is P2P: a board of a thousand-odd ads covering roubles, hryvnia, tenge and euros, each with limits and the seller's own trade record. The spot side is small, two dozen USDT pairs, but it carries TON-ecosystem coins the majors often skip.
Strong sides: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
What decides it
- Age. OKX has run since 2017, xRocket since 2021 — a gap of 4 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
- Jurisdiction. OKX sits in Seychelles, xRocket in Telegram. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. OKX has OKB, xRocket has XROCK: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. OKX: free withdrawals on its own X Layer network, a full derivatives suite, a built-in Web3 wallet; xRocket: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
- Which job. OKX is for anyone who needs options and access to decentralised markets from one window, while xRocket is first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
- Worth remembering. OKX: the interface is dense: a newcomer needs time to settle in. xRocket: no futures and no funding rate at all, and a thin spot book — the gap between buying and selling BTC runs to about half a per cent.
Which one fits you
OKX — for anyone who needs options and access to decentralised markets from one window.
xRocket — first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
What people ask most
OKX: What is the separate European domain? Users in the European Economic Area are served by a separate legal entity on its own domain. Accounts and API keys do not carry across.
OKX: How does OKX differ from Binance? Books are nearly as deep, trading pairs are often more numerous, and the app contains a non-custodial wallet with a DEX aggregator — a combination Binance does not offer.
xRocket: Do I need to install an app to trade on xRocket? No. The venue works inside Telegram: the wallet, trading and the ad board all open in the messenger. There is no separate site with an account area.
xRocket: How many spot pairs are there? Fifty-four, twenty of them against USDT. The rest are quoted in GRAM, a token of the TON ecosystem.
xRocket: Does xRocket offer futures? No. The venue has no perpetual contracts, so it does not appear in the funding section.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.
Live numbers
Everything in the table above is recomputed together with the rest of the site — pairs, contracts, P2P, networks and the withdrawal fee. OKX and xRocket can be compared on facts rather than promises.
