Bybit or OKX

The best derivatives terminal against the most complete ecosystem. A feature-by-feature look at where the line falls.

Compared by the numbers

Measured at the venues, not taken from their marketing. Volume stays out of the table: no two exchanges count it the same way, and a shared number nobody defines helps no one.

Where the line falls

Bybit grew out of derivatives: the futures terminal here is considered one of the best on the market, and spot, futures and options share one account and one pool of collateral. OKX is strong on breadth: a deep spot market, dated futures, options and a built-in Web3 wallet.

In short: manual futures trading goes to Bybit; spot, a wide instrument set and DEX work go to OKX.

What Bybit gives you

Unified account — spot, futures and options on shared collateral, with nothing to shuffle between wallets.

Futures — nearly eight hundred perpetual contracts and a terminal you learn in an evening.

Options — a proper section.

Copy trading — open statistics: returns, drawdown, trade count.

Bots — grid and DCA right in the interface.

Earn — flexible and fixed savings, staking.

Bybit Card — pay from your crypto balance.

Twenty networks for USDT withdrawals — the record of our review.

What OKX gives you

Spot — over four hundred USDT pairs and two hundred and seventy-two direct euro pairs.

Futures — perpetual and dated, almost five hundred contracts.

Options — a proper section.

Web3 wallet — non-custodial, with a DEX aggregator inside the app.

Its own X Layer network — free USDT withdrawals.

Earn — savings, staking, dual investments, structured products.

Jumpstart — new token launches.

Copy trading and bots — mirrored trades and automated strategies.

Unified account against a route into Web3

This is a fair trade, and it describes both venues well. Bybit gives you maximum comfort inside the exchange: one pool of collateral across every instrument. OKX gives you a way out of it: buy on spot, send to your own wallet, swap on a DEX — without leaving the app.

If all your work happens on the exchange, Bybit is more convenient. If part of it happens on chain, OKX is.

Fees and transfers

Base rates on both are in line with the market and fall with volume: Bybit also discounts for holding MNT, OKX for OKB.

Both are strong on transfers in different ways: Bybit has twenty USDT networks, OKX has free withdrawals on its own X Layer.

P2P

OKX has the tidier interface and more predictable filters, especially for CIS and Turkish currencies. Bybit runs a more compact section, and with fewer sellers competing for the top rows its price is sometimes better.

Who each one suits

Bybit — if derivatives are your main business and you want one account for spot and futures.

OKX — if you need a deep spot market, dated futures, direct euro pairs or work with decentralised venues.

What the numbers say

Bybit carries more perpetuals: 822 where the other has 517. Our scanner reads P2P advertisements on Bybit in 89 currencies and on OKX in 16. Spot comes out level — about 428 USDT pairs either way. On the cheapest chain OKX charges 0.0029 for USDT via ARBITRUM; the same move on Bybit runs to 0.0700 POLYGON. Bybit lists 20 networks for USDT, OKX lists 16 — that is freedom of route when you move funds.

Frequently asked

Which is better for futures?
Bybit: the derivatives terminal is more comfortable, and the unified account lets a spot asset serve as collateral.
And for spot?
OKX: the book is deeper, and beyond USDT there are two hundred and seventy-two direct euro pairs.
Which one has options?
Both, and that is rare: most venues stop at spot and perpetual futures.
Where are withdrawals cheaper?
It depends on the coin and network: Bybit has twenty USDT networks, OKX has free withdrawals on its own X Layer.
What is the OKX Web3 wallet?
A non-custodial wallet with a DEX aggregator inside the app: the keys are yours, and spot to DEX is a couple of screens.
OKX or Bybit — which should you pick?
It is the same choice whichever way round you write it. The comparison above is built on what can be measured: fees, pair counts, withdrawal chains and funding routes. Look less at which venue is "better" in general and more at which of those matters to you.
