WhiteBIT vs Crypto.com

Crypto.com is more interesting inside crypto, WhiteBIT at the way in and out, where euro and dollar stay themselves.

Compared by the numbers

Collected straight from the exchanges. Volume is deliberately left out: venues count it differently, and on some the top of the list is tokenised equities. The last row is our advertisement scanner’s coverage, not the venue’s full currency list, which is wider.

In short: the difference

WhiteBIT is a venue with direct fiat. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Lithuania, its own WBT token.

Crypto.com is an ecosystem with its own set of services. On the market since 2016, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own CRO token.

What WhiteBIT gives you

The rival’s service list is wide, yet WhiteBIT wins on other things: A European venue with Ukrainian roots, registered in Lithuania. Its defining trait is money without USDT in the middle: ninety-two euro pairs and sixteen hryvnia ones, a combination nothing else here offers. There is spot, almost four hundred perpetuals, P2P, staking and savings, a launchpad and its own WBT token, which sits in the market top twenty by capitalisation.

Strong sides: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20.

What Crypto.com gives you

Against a regulated venue, Crypto.com wins on other things: An international venue with licences in several jurisdictions, a card programme and an app used by tens of millions. What it quotes against first is the dollar rather than USDT: USDT pairs number a little over a hundred, but they are liquid coins with a dense book. Derivatives are here too — four hundred perpetual contracts; funding comes one contract per request, yet accrual is hourly and a dedicated walker keeps pace.

Strong sides: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts.

What decides it

  • Jurisdiction. WhiteBIT sits in Lithuania, Crypto.com in Singapore. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native tokens. WhiteBIT has WBT, Crypto.com has CRO: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
  • Strengths side by side. WhiteBIT: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20; Crypto.com: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts.
  • Which job. WhiteBIT is for settling directly in euro and hryvnia without USDT in between, while Crypto.com is as a price reference and a funding venue.
  • Worth remembering. WhiteBIT: USDT withdrawals cost more than on the largest venues — compare networks if you move often. Crypto.com: only a hundred-odd USDT pairs: most trading is against the actual dollar.

What people ask most

WhiteBIT: What is WBT? The exchange's own token. It grants fee discounts and access to the exchange's programmes. It ranks fifteenth on the market by capitalisation, unusually high for an exchange token.

WhiteBIT: What does it cost to withdraw USDT? One USDT on almost any network: TRON, BSC, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum and the rest. Only Ethereum (0.4) and Plasma (0.1) are cheaper. That is noticeably dearer than the large competitors, and it tells on frequent transfers.

WhiteBIT: How many futures are there? Three hundred and ninety-six USDT perpetuals, with funding published for all of them. The settlement interval differs by contract: eight hours on some, four on others.

Crypto.com: Does Crypto.com take part in funding? Yes. The venue serves rates one contract per request, but accrual here is hourly, so there is no need to chase seconds: a dedicated walker covers all four hundred contracts in a couple of minutes and refreshes the snapshot every five. It stays out of the spot-versus-futures comparison, though — its contracts settle in actual dollars while our spot is quoted in USDT, and the difference would land as a phantom basis on every row.

Crypto.com: Why does Crypto.com show few pairs in your scanner? Because the venue quotes mainly against the actual dollar rather than USDT. There are only a hundred-odd USDT pairs, and those are what the tables use. Comparing a dollar price with a USDT price directly is not sound: they are different assets.

Both at once

Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. Deposits and withdrawals go through the regulated venue, trading and yield through the ecosystem. A stablecoin travels between them on a cheap network.

Live numbers

The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. WhiteBIT and Crypto.com can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

Counting spot pairs, WhiteBIT comes out ahead by 2.7×: 326 USDT pairs against 123. WhiteBIT is the one of the two with a published USDT withdrawal: 0.50 on SOL. Neither pulls ahead on perpetuals: about 403 both ways.
