In short: the difference
WEEX is a derivatives terminal. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own WXT token.
HIBT is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. .
What WEEX gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet WEEX wins on other things: A young venue that grew fast: seventeen hundred spot pairs and a thousand perpetuals, more than many long-established names. There is P2P in dozens of currencies, copy trading, savings and its own WXT token. The exchange is known for the user protection fund it holds publicly.
Strong sides: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.
What HIBT gives you
Next to a derivatives terminal, HIBT answers with something else: A spot venue with nearly five hundred USDT pairs and meaningful turnover on the major coins. The book is served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred and fifty by turnover under watch and walk them with a dedicated collector — that is where nearly all the volume sits. Best quotes arrive with their size, so the execution ceiling is computable here too.
Strong sides: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
What decides it
- Native token. WXT on WEEX cuts fees and opens launches; HIBT has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. WEEX: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund; HIBT: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
- Which job. WEEX is for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency, while HIBT is as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
- Worth remembering. WEEX: eleven withdrawal networks — fewer than the largest venues. HIBT: the book is served one pair per request, so only the top of the turnover list enters the scanners.
Which one fits you

What people ask most
WEEX: Do I need an API key for you to show WEEX data? No. The exchange serves all market data publicly, and our scanner works without keys and without access to anyone’s account.
WEEX: Which network is cheapest for USDT withdrawals? Not TRON, contrary to habit: it is the dearest on WEEX, and layer-two networks come in more than ten times cheaper. Exact figures per network are in the table at the top of this page, since they change.
WEEX: What does WEEX charge? 0.1% for both maker and taker on spot. The exchange publishes the rate per pair in its instrument directory, so you can verify it yourself.
HIBT: Why is HIBT missing from funding? The venue does have futures, but we found no open programmatic access to the funding rate, and without it the section is pointless.
HIBT: Why do HIBT routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The exchange does not openly publish networks, fees and deposit/withdrawal statuses. We will not present a guess as a fact.
HIBT: How many pairs does HIBT have? By our measurements nearly five hundred spot pairs against USDT. The scanners use the top hundred and fifty by turnover — the ones where a spread can actually fill.
Both at once
Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. Spot and earn stay on the ecosystem, contracts on the terminal. Moving between them costs pennies on the right network.
Live numbers
The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. WEEX and HIBT can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
Only WEEX of the two reaches our P2P scanner, in 89 currencies. We can price the USDT withdrawal on WEEX alone — 0.0150 over OPTIMISM. Spot is wider on WEEX: 1,601 USDT pairs against 478, a gap of 3.3×.
