Bybit vs Pionex

Bybit is built for contracts; Pionex also covers earn, bots and launches. It comes down to what you need more often.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

What Bybit is: a derivatives terminal. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Dubai, UAE, its own MNT token.

What Pionex is: a venue with bots and a Web3 side. .

What Bybit gives you

Compared with an ecosystem, Bybit leans on its own strengths: A venue with a strong derivatives pedigree and an unusually comfortable interface. Spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P, Earn savings, copy trading with open trader statistics, trading bots and a card. Twenty networks for USDT withdrawals — more than anyone we cover — and several of them free.

Strong sides: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading.

What Pionex gives you

The terminal is strong on contracts, but Pionex has its own ground: An exchange assembled around trading bots: grid, DCA and arbitrage strategies live inside the interface and cost nothing. Spot runs a little past three hundred USDT pairs, and best quotes arrive with their size, which is not often the case. Liquidity is drawn from the large exchanges, so its prices stay next to the market rather than living a life of their own.

Strong sides: 300+ pairs with open sizes at the quote, built-in trading bots at no charge, prices close to the major venues.

What decides it

  • Native token. MNT on Bybit cuts fees and opens launches; Pionex has no such lever.
  • Strengths side by side. Bybit: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading; Pionex: 300+ pairs with open sizes at the quote, built-in trading bots at no charge, prices close to the major venues.
  • Which job. Bybit is a natural second venue in a route: cheap transfers and predictable execution, while Pionex is as a bot-driven venue with even prices, handy for triangular routes.
  • Worth remembering. Bybit: the spot listing is slimmer than the Asian venues with thousands of pairs. Pionex: funding rates for its perpetuals are not served as a list, so the venue is absent from funding.

Which one fits you

Bybit — a natural second venue in a route: cheap transfers and predictable execution.

Pionex — as a bot-driven venue with even prices, handy for triangular routes.

What people ask most

Bybit: How many USDT withdrawal networks are there? Twenty, more than any other venue in our review, and several of them are free. Live per-network prices are in the table at the top of this page.

Bybit: Are there options here? Yes, a proper section. Options are uncommon among exchanges, and Bybit is one of the few venues with the full derivatives set.

Bybit: Is there P2P here? Yes, across dozens of currencies. The section is more compact than Binance, and with less competition for the top rows the price is sometimes better.

Pionex: What makes Pionex useful for triangular arbitrage? It publishes the size at the best price. Without that number there is no saying how large a route can fill, and venues that withhold it do not enter the triangular section at all.

Pionex: Do the bots on Pionex cost extra? The built-in strategies are available at no separate charge — the exchange earns on trading fees.

Pionex: Why does Pionex rarely show large spreads? Because the venue aggregates liquidity from the large exchanges and its prices are designed to track the market. That is a drawback for gap-hunting and an advantage for fill reliability.

Both at once

Nothing stops you from opening an account on both: it is free, and a pair of venues almost always beats any single one on price. Spot and earn stay on the ecosystem, contracts on the terminal. Moving between them costs pennies on the right network.

Live numbers

The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. Bybit and Pionex can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

Only Bybit of the two reaches our P2P scanner, in 89 currencies. There is little to choose on spot: both carry around 350 USDT pairs. We can price the USDT withdrawal on Bybit alone — 0.0700 over POLYGON.

Frequently asked

It is the same choice whichever way round you write it. The comparison above is built on what can be measured: fees, pair counts, withdrawal chains and funding routes. Look less at which venue is "better" in general and more at which of those matters to you.
