MEXC or LBank

Both live off coins the top three do not yet carry. A look at how they differ from each other.

Compared by the numbers

All of it is pulled from the platforms as they publish it. Volume is the one figure we skip — the counting rules differ so widely that a side-by-side would mislead rather than inform.

The difference in one sentence

MEXC is a zero maker fee and an enormous spot list. LBank is early listings, a wide P2P and open futures data.

Fees

On MEXC the taker pays 0.05% and the maker pays nothing. That is rare: on most venues both sides pay 0.1%. For multi-leg routes it changes the arithmetic entirely — half the route can be walked for free with a limit order.

LBank charges the usual tenths of a percent, falling with volume and with the LBK token. Exact figures live in its help section, so confirm them in your account.

What MEXC gives you

Spot — fifteen hundred pairs, zero maker fee.

Futures — over a thousand perpetual contracts.

P2P — hryvnia, tenge, lira and dozens of other currencies.

Earn — savings and staking on fresh coins.

Kickstarter and Launchpad — join launches.

Copy trading — mirror other traders.

Free USDT withdrawals on Plasma, sixteen networks in total.

What LBank gives you

Early listing — its signature trait: new coins often appear here before the large exchanges.

Futures — over eight hundred perpetual contracts with funding rates published for all of them. LBank takes part in our funding section on equal terms.

P2P — around fifty currencies, with more offers on some routes than neighbours of the same size.

Earn — savings and staking.

Launchpad — new token launches.

LBK token — a fee discount.

Age — running since 2015, ten unbroken years.

Why LBank is not in our spot arbitrage

The reason is technical and worth explaining. Comparing prices needs the best bid and the best ask — the numbers a trade would actually hit. LBank serves its book one symbol per request: covering every pair would take over a thousand calls per refresh cycle.

What it does serve as a list is the last trade price, and no trade fills at that. We prefer not to show numbers that cannot be executed, so LBank is absent from the spot tables. In funding, P2P and the coin rally section it takes part on equal terms.

Early listings: how to work with them

Both venues take coins before the large exchanges — that is their strength. Working with it is simple: before you calculate a spread, look at the daily volume of the pair. On a fresh listing the book is still filling up.

Who each one suits

MEXC — if you trade with limit orders and value the zero maker fee, and want to see its prices in our spot routes.

LBank — if you hunt early listings or work with funding: it publishes everything openly on perpetuals.

What the numbers say

In our scanner LBank shows P2P in 89 currencies, MEXC in 83. The longer contract list belongs to MEXC — 1,098 perpetuals, against 846. Only MEXC gives a measurable USDT withdrawal: 0.0001 over AVALANCHE.

Frequently asked

Why is LBank missing from cross-exchange spot arbitrage?
The exchange serves its book one symbol per request — covering every pair would take over a thousand calls per cycle. What comes as a list is the last trade price, and no trade fills at that, so we do not show such numbers.
Where is trading cheaper?
MEXC, if you post limit orders: the maker fee there is zero. LBank charges the usual tenths of a percent.
Which has more coins?
Usually MEXC — its spot list is one of the longest on the market. Current pair counts for both are in the table at the top of this page.
Where do new coins appear first?
It varies coin by coin: both take listings before the large exchanges, and that is their shared strength.
Does LBank have futures?
Yes, over eight hundred perpetual contracts, with funding rates published for all of them.
LBank or MEXC — which should you pick?
It is the same choice whichever way round you write it. The comparison above is built on what can be measured: fees, pair counts, withdrawal chains and funding routes. Look less at which venue is "better" in general and more at which of those matters to you.
