In short: the difference
KuCoin is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2017, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own KCS token.
HIBT is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. .
What KuCoin gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet KuCoin wins on other things: The venue known for its trading bots: grid, DCA and arbitrage bots are configured right in the interface, with no third-party service. Alongside that, spot across eight hundred-plus pairs, perpetual futures, P2P, savings and staking under Earn, Spotlight launches and copy trading. Nineteen networks for USDT withdrawals.
Strong sides: built-in trading bots, 800+ spot pairs, 19 withdrawal networks, a broad P2P.
What HIBT gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, HIBT leans on its own strengths: A spot venue with nearly five hundred USDT pairs and meaningful turnover on the major coins. The book is served one pair per request, so we keep the top hundred and fifty by turnover under watch and walk them with a dedicated collector — that is where nearly all the volume sits. Best quotes arrive with their size, so the execution ceiling is computable here too.
Strong sides: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
What decides it
- Native token. KCS on KuCoin cuts fees and opens launches; HIBT has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. KuCoin: built-in trading bots, 800+ spot pairs, 19 withdrawal networks, a broad P2P; HIBT: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
- Which job. KuCoin is for anyone who wants to automate trading without writing code, while HIBT is as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
- Worth remembering. KuCoin: USDT withdrawals cost more than on neighbouring venues — compare networks before moving. HIBT: the book is served one pair per request, so only the top of the turnover list enters the scanners.

What people ask most
KuCoin: How many coins are here? More than eight hundred spot pairs — KuCoin sits comfortably in the top five by listing, and many coins got their first serious book here.
KuCoin: What is KCS? The exchange own token. It discounts fees and pays daily distributions from part of the venue fee income — the latter is uncommon among exchange tokens.
KuCoin: Are there futures and P2P? Yes: nearly seven hundred perpetual contracts and P2P for ordinary money.
HIBT: Why do the scanners show only some HIBT pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request. Walking five hundred pairs in one refresh is impossible, so we watch the top of the turnover list. Using the last trade price instead was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
HIBT: Does HIBT take part in triangular arbitrage? Yes. The venue publishes the size at the best quote, and without that number an exchange does not enter the triangular section at all.
HIBT: Why is HIBT missing from funding? The venue does have futures, but we found no open programmatic access to the funding rate, and without it the section is pointless.
Both at once
Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.
Live numbers
Everything in the table above is recomputed together with the rest of the site — pairs, contracts, P2P, networks and the withdrawal fee. KuCoin and HIBT can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
The spot lists differ by 1.7× — 817 USDT pairs on KuCoin, 478 on the other side. Our scanner reads P2P on KuCoin only — 89 currencies. Of the two, only KuCoin publishes a USDT withdrawal price: 0.50, chain TON.
