Crypto.com vs Pionex

Crypto.com and Pionex are two ecosystems of the same class. The choice usually turns on a detail: withdrawal price, interface, or a coin the other one lacks.

Compared by the numbers

Measured at the venues, not taken from their marketing. Volume stays out of the table: no two exchanges count it the same way, and a shared number nobody defines helps no one.

In short: the difference

First in the pair, Crypto.com, is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2016, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own CRO token.

Second in the pair, Pionex, is an ecosystem with its own set of services. .

What Crypto.com gives you

Compared with an ecosystem, Crypto.com leans on its own strengths: A large international venue with licences in several jurisdictions, a card programme and an app with tens of millions of users. Its main quote currency is the dollar rather than USDT: there are only a hundred-odd USDT pairs, but they are liquid coins with a dense book. There are four hundred perpetual contracts too: the exchange serves funding one contract per request, but accrual here is hourly, so a dedicated walker keeps up — the venue does take part in our funding section.

Strong sides: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts.

What Pionex gives you

The rival’s service list is wide, yet Pionex wins on other things: An exchange assembled around trading bots: grid, DCA and arbitrage strategies live inside the interface and cost nothing. Spot runs a little past three hundred USDT pairs, and best quotes arrive with their size, which is not often the case. Liquidity is drawn from the large exchanges, so its prices stay next to the market rather than living a life of their own.

Strong sides: 300+ pairs with open sizes at the quote, built-in trading bots at no charge, prices close to the major venues.

What decides it

  • Native token. CRO on Crypto.com cuts fees and opens launches; Pionex has no such lever.
  • Strengths side by side. Crypto.com: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts; Pionex: 300+ pairs with open sizes at the quote, built-in trading bots at no charge, prices close to the major venues.
  • Which job. Crypto.com is as a price reference and a funding venue, while Pionex is as a bot-driven venue with even prices, handy for triangular routes.
  • Worth remembering. Crypto.com: only a hundred-odd USDT pairs: most trading is against the actual dollar. Pionex: funding rates for its perpetuals are not served as a list, so the venue is absent from funding.

Which one fits you

Crypto.com — as a price reference and a funding venue.

Pionex — as a bot-driven venue with even prices, handy for triangular routes.

What people ask most

Crypto.com: Why does Crypto.com show few pairs in your scanner? Because the venue quotes mainly against the actual dollar rather than USDT. There are only a hundred-odd USDT pairs, and those are what the tables use. Comparing a dollar price with a USDT price directly is not sound: they are different assets.

Crypto.com: Why is the venue absent from triangular arbitrage? It does not publish the size resting at the best price. Without that there is no saying how large a route can fill, and showing a return with no execution ceiling would mislead.

Pionex: Why does Pionex rarely show large spreads? Because the venue aggregates liquidity from the large exchanges and its prices are designed to track the market. That is a drawback for gap-hunting and an advantage for fill reliability.

Pionex: How many pairs does Pionex have? By our measurements a little over three hundred spot pairs against USDT. The figure is live and refreshes with the data.

Pionex: Do the bots on Pionex cost extra? The built-in strategies are available at no separate charge — the exchange earns on trading fees.

Both at once

Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.

Live numbers

The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. Crypto.com and Pionex can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

The transfer price stays behind the login on Crypto.com and on Pionex alike. Rather than publish a number we cannot verify, the row keeps a dash. Spot is wider on Pionex: 311 USDT pairs against 123, a gap of 2.5×.
