In short: the difference
First in the pair, Bybit, is an exchange with a strong futures side. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Dubai, UAE, its own MNT token.
Second in the pair, Hotcoin, is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. .
What Bybit gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet Bybit wins on other things: A venue with a strong derivatives pedigree and an unusually comfortable interface. Spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P, Earn savings, copy trading with open trader statistics, trading bots and a card. Twenty networks for USDT withdrawals — more than anyone we cover — and several of them free.
Strong sides: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading.
What Hotcoin gives you
Next to a derivatives terminal, Hotcoin answers with something else: An exchange with three hundred and fifty spot pairs against USDT and tangible turnover on the major coins. Best quotes and 24-hour volume arrive in a single open response, so its prices can be set honestly beside other venues. The futures interface is not open to outside requests, which is why the venue is absent from our funding section.
Strong sides: 350+ USDT pairs, best quotes served as one list, meaningful turnover on major coins.
What decides it
- Native token. MNT on Bybit cuts fees and opens launches; Hotcoin has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. Bybit: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading; Hotcoin: 350+ USDT pairs, best quotes served as one list, meaningful turnover on major coins.
- Which job. Bybit is a natural second venue in a route: cheap transfers and predictable execution, while Hotcoin is as an extra side in spot routes.
- Worth remembering. Bybit: the spot listing is slimmer than the Asian venues with thousands of pairs. Hotcoin: the futures interface is closed to outside requests, and quote sizes are not published.
Which one fits you

Hotcoin — as an extra side in spot routes.
What people ask most
Bybit: Is there P2P here? Yes, across dozens of currencies. The section is more compact than Binance, and with less competition for the top rows the price is sometimes better.
Bybit: What is the unified trading account? A mode where spot, futures and options share collateral. A coin bought on spot backs your futures position, and free funds never sit idle in a separate wallet — the whole balance works.
Bybit: Are there options here? Yes, a proper section. Options are uncommon among exchanges, and Bybit is one of the few venues with the full derivatives set.
Hotcoin: Why do Hotcoin routes show a question mark instead of a transfer status? The venue does not publish networks, fees and deposit/withdrawal statuses. We will not present a guess as a fact.
Hotcoin: Why is Hotcoin missing from funding and triangular arbitrage? Its futures interface is closed to outside requests — the exchange plainly answers that the API is not open. And triangular routes need the size at the best quote, which the venue does not publish.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. Spot and earn stay on the ecosystem, contracts on the terminal. Moving between them costs pennies on the right network.
