In short: the difference
LBank is an exchange with thousands of pairs. On the market since 2015, jurisdiction: British Virgin Islands, its own LBK token.
HIBT is an exchange that covers several jobs at once. .
What LBank gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, LBank leans on its own strengths: One of the elder Asian venues, running since 2015. Eight hundred and thirty perpetuals and a broad P2P across dozens of currencies — stronger than many of its contemporaries on both counts. There is savings, staking and its own LBK token. The exchange is known for early listings: new coins land here before the majors.
Strong sides: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015.
What HIBT gives you
Early listings are not the only argument; HIBT answers with its own: HIBT is spot: just under five hundred pairs against USDT and noticeable turnover on the leading coins. Because the book is served a pair at a time, we keep the top hundred and fifty by turnover under watch, walked by a dedicated collector. Size comes with the best quotes, so how much a route can actually fill is visible too.
Strong sides: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
What decides it
- Native token. LBK on LBank cuts fees and opens launches; HIBT has no such lever.
- Strengths side by side. LBank: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015; HIBT: sizes at the best quote are open, nearly 500 USDT pairs, a relaxed request pace with no hard limits.
- Which job. LBank is for funding, P2P and finding fresh coins, while HIBT is as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
- Worth remembering. LBank: we do not show it in cross-exchange spot arbitrage: it serves its book one pair per request. HIBT: the book is served one pair per request, so only the top of the turnover list enters the scanners.
Which one fits you
LBank — for funding, P2P and finding fresh coins.
HIBT — as an extra side in spot and triangular routes.
What people ask most
LBank: Why look at LBank when the large exchanges exist? For early listings of small coins, which often appear here first. The trade-off is a thin book, so entering with size is risky.
LBank: How do I fund an LBank account? Through the deposit section of your account: pick the coin and network and send to the address shown. Some coins have several networks, each with its own address — sending on the wrong one means losing the funds.
LBank: Why can’t I withdraw coins bought on P2P right away? The exchange holds them for twenty-four hours after the order completes, protecting against payment reversal. The clock starts when the order closes. For arbitrage that is decisive: the spread will be gone within a day.
HIBT: Does HIBT take part in triangular arbitrage? Yes. The venue publishes the size at the best quote, and without that number an exchange does not enter the triangular section at all.
HIBT: Why do the scanners show only some HIBT pairs? The exchange serves its book one pair per request. Walking five hundred pairs in one refresh is impossible, so we watch the top of the turnover list. Using the last trade price instead was not an option: you cannot buy at it.
HIBT: How many pairs does HIBT have? By our measurements nearly five hundred spot pairs against USDT. The scanners use the top hundred and fifty by turnover — the ones where a spread can actually fill.
Both at once
Nothing stops you from opening an account on both: it is free, and a pair of venues almost always beats any single one on price. A rare coin is bought where it exists and moved to the ecosystem — easier to hold, stake or sell into a deeper book there.
Live numbers
The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. LBank and HIBT can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
Of the pair, only LBank feeds our P2P scanner, 89 currencies. Neither LBank nor HIBT puts the USDT withdrawal price in open data — both show it at the moment of withdrawal, inside the account. We leave a dash there rather than guess.
