In short: the difference
First in the pair, Crypto.com, is an exchange with services around the trading. On the market since 2016, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own CRO token.
Second in the pair, xRocket, is a venue that doubles as a toolkit. On the market since 2021, jurisdiction: Telegram, its own XROCK token.
What Crypto.com gives you
The rival’s service list is wide, yet Crypto.com wins on other things: A large international venue with licences in several jurisdictions, a card programme and an app with tens of millions of users. Its main quote currency is the dollar rather than USDT: there are only a hundred-odd USDT pairs, but they are liquid coins with a dense book. There are four hundred perpetual contracts too: the exchange serves funding one contract per request, but accrual here is hourly, so a dedicated walker keeps up — the venue does take part in our funding section.
Strong sides: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts.
What xRocket gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, xRocket leans on its own strengths: An exchange grown out of a Telegram bot: wallet, trading and P2P in a single messenger window. Its ad board is markedly larger than its trading side — over a thousand buy offers, some three hundred in roubles and sixty in hryvnia. Spot runs to 54 pairs, twenty of them against USDT.
Strong sides: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
What decides it
- Age. Crypto.com has run since 2016, xRocket since 2021 — a gap of 5 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
- Jurisdiction. Crypto.com sits in Singapore, xRocket in Telegram. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. Crypto.com has CRO, xRocket has XROCK: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. Crypto.com: a dense book on the major pairs, licences and regulation, the CRO token for discounts; xRocket: a large P2P board in roubles and hryvnia, payment through SBP and bank cards, a trade record on every seller, and TON coins the big venues do not list.
- Which job. Crypto.com is as a price reference and a funding venue, while xRocket is first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
- Worth remembering. Crypto.com: only a hundred-odd USDT pairs: most trading is against the actual dollar. xRocket: no futures and no funding rate at all, and a thin spot book — the gap between buying and selling BTC runs to about half a per cent.
Which one fits you
Crypto.com — as a price reference and a funding venue.
xRocket — first of all as a P2P board for roubles and hryvnia.
What people ask most
Crypto.com: Does Crypto.com take part in funding? Yes. The venue serves rates one contract per request, but accrual here is hourly, so there is no need to chase seconds: a dedicated walker covers all four hundred contracts in a couple of minutes and refreshes the snapshot every five. It stays out of the spot-versus-futures comparison, though — its contracts settle in actual dollars while our spot is quoted in USDT, and the difference would land as a phantom basis on every row.
Crypto.com: Why does Crypto.com show few pairs in your scanner? Because the venue quotes mainly against the actual dollar rather than USDT. There are only a hundred-odd USDT pairs, and those are what the tables use. Comparing a dollar price with a USDT price directly is not sound: they are different assets.
xRocket: How many spot pairs are there? Fifty-four, twenty of them against USDT. The rest are quoted in GRAM, a token of the TON ecosystem.
xRocket: Does xRocket have rouble P2P? Yes, and it is its strong side. The board carries around three hundred rouble ads, paid through SBP, Sberbank, T-Bank, Alfa-Bank, Ozon Bank and ordinary transfers.
xRocket: Does xRocket offer futures? No. The venue has no perpetual contracts, so it does not appear in the funding section.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. It makes sense to split the jobs: spot and earn on one, bots and launches on the other. Balances are pre-funded, so no transfer is needed at the moment of a trade.
Live numbers
The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. Crypto.com and xRocket can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
P2P data comes from xRocket only — 89 currencies. The transfer price stays behind the login on Crypto.com and on xRocket alike. Rather than publish a number we cannot verify, the row keeps a dash. The spot lists differ by 6.2× — 123 USDT pairs on Crypto.com, 20 on the other side.
